Today I ran an open-source project on GitHub: w-okada RVC (Realtime Voice Changer). Since May this year, the project's attention has sharply increased, with a surge in star numbers.
Project Overview
Project Address - https://github.com/w-okada/voice-changer
RVC, or Realtime Voice Changer, is a client-side software based on various voice conversion (VC) artificial intelligences. It supports voice conversion AIs including MMVC, so-vits-svc, RVC (Retrieval-based-Voice-Conversion), DDSP-SVC, and Beatrice JVS Corpus Edition.
Key Features
One of the standout features of w-okada's RVC is its use of a server-client configuration to achieve real-time voice transformation. By running the MMVC server on another computer, users can smoothly operate this voice changer while minimizing impact on other resource-intensive processes such as game commentary.
How to Use
RVC can be run on Google Colab. The official team provides a dedicated notebook: https://github.com/w-okada/voice-changer/blob/master/Realtime_Voice_Changer_on_Colab.ipynb.
Experience
After setting it up, no matter what sound I input, it can instantly convert it into the voice of a gentle cartoon girl.
