There has been no update in the past week, as I have been on the road to and attending the annual meeting; there were also various year-end summaries and plans for the coming year. Personally, I have doubts about the significance of holding an annual meeting, but if the human resources department believes it has value, I am willing to trust the judgment of professionals.
In the past month, I summarized Messari's report, and the main content is as follows:
"Key Trends" from "CRYPTO THESES 2024" Hall of Fame from "CRYPTO THESES 2024" Top 10 Products from "CRYPTO THESES 2024": Leading-edge technologies at the forefront of the industry Crypto Monies in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" U.S. Policy and Regulations in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" CeFi Trending (Part 1) in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" CeFi Trending (Part 2) in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" LAYER-1 Public Chains in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" Ten Trends in the DeFi Sector from "CRYPTO THESES 2024" Consumer Products in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" Wallets in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" DePIN in "CRYPTO THESES 2024" DAO in "CRYPTO THESES 2024"
However, I think the appendix section at the end of the report is also very well written. Therefore, I selected some views that I consider particularly outstanding to conclude the entire report.
1. Must Write
Whether it’s code or prose, you must get better at writing. With the advent of AI, the two are going to merge.
Reading can reveal our blind spots, and writing can help us focus and establish our own perspectives 💡. If we don't stay busy with writing (or prompt engineering), we will be eliminated by the times.
2. No Idols
Stay hungry and humble. Stay disciplined. Stay hard.
and indulge in their own rhetoric.
Today, while I was reading "Poor Charlie's Almanack," I happened to come across a similar piece of advice:
Resist the desire for false precision and erroneous certainty. Do not deceive yourself, and remember, the easiest person to fool is yourself.
3. Must Read
Don’t follow your passion. Seriously. Don’t follow your passion
Read more and spend less time on fragmented information. Find where you can provide the most value, where you can offer the most value to the people around you, your customers, and colleagues, and then strive to provide more value every day.
4. Tips & Productivity Tricks
Slack for the team, email for business, Twitter for play. That’s it.
The most effective way to increase productivity is to surround yourself with excellent people who have a sense of mission, persistence, organization, good communication skills, and emotional stability. (I need to first reflect on myself to see if I can achieve these or improve in certain areas; at the same time, I am also thinking that as a CEO, my job is more about finding such a group of people.) A group of like-minded but complementary-skilled partners gather together.
Some other efficiency tips include:
Communication: Don't always be disturbed by various messages. Set specific times to check messages and allocate continuous time slots for thinking. Meetings: Keep internal meetings within 20%. Mind, body, soul: This year, start meditating more, don't look at Twitter before bed, instead read books to help with sleep.
5. Life Advice
I don’t know what I’m doing and neither do you.
Every day is Day 1, anything is possible.
